Tell us about your role and your main focus
I am training to become a surveyor, and in the final stages of my assessment, so my day-to-day routine involves much writing and research around each case study survey.
What key skills or experience specifically make you shine?
I am really good at writing and research! I also know the business fantastically well having worked with Robert since the very early days and having been involved with almost every part of it along the way.
What’s the best thing about your job?
I am answering in the future tense now, because I can’t wait to step away from my desk more and into proper surveying.
What’s the biggest challenge in your work?
Each property inspection requires the collection and processing of so much information; I am still getting on top of my time management.
What do you think makes Desbruslais a great company to be part of?
The team! And the boss! And the team! It is such a great company to be a part of; flexible, responsive to the external business environment as well as to its employees. Committed to excellence in knowledge and service. All round brilliance.
What does your perfect weekend look like?
It always involves a good long dog walk or two in the beautiful South Downs, great food and time with friends and family.
