Desbruslais chooses Sussex Heart Charity to spotlight in February

At Desbruslais, we believe in supporting the causes that matter most to our team and their families

February carries on our Charity Spotlight initiative, where our team members nominate a cause close to their hearts. Our second spotlight comes from surveyor Gary Moore, who has nominated the Sussex Heart Charity.

Gary’s wife, Katharine Moore, heads up the Haywards Heath Cardiac Rehabilitation team. Her vital work is supported by a dedicated group of unpaid volunteers; all of whom are former patients who, thanks to this service, have returned to healthy lives.

Because this service is so heavily underfunded, it relies on the Sussex Heart Charity to provide essential equipment like heart rate monitors and exercise gear. Without them, this life-changing rehabilitation would be nearly impossible to run.
